Last Friday night, a first-of-its-kind cinema ad was screened/performed at a NYC theatre, which left cinema-goers stunned. This amazingly creative ambient stunt is entertaining and connecting with the audience in an interesting way. Cleverly executed, the whole show was unbranded until the very end, when it was revealed on screen that it was in fact an ad for Daffy’s department store. The idea was developed at Johannes Leonardo, a NYC based ad agency. A really great piece of ad/art work that definitely achieved to cut through the clutter and get people talking. Moreover, patrons received gift vouchers with 20% off. Well, if that isn’t another good reason to hit the cinemas this weekend. Performance can be seen at the Ziegfeld Theatre.
