Globally renowned graphic designer Eike König is the founder and creative director of Berlin-based creative collective HORT. Eike’s artistic practice is celebrated for its conceptual, emotional, visual – occasionally playful, but always deliberate – tackling of social issues. This makes him a perfect fit for our upcoming campaign that’s all about taking a stance and campaigning for a liveable future.
In the run-up of Drykorn’s campaign shooting and the release of the „FUTURE NOW“-Shirt, we send a small team to Berlin-Kreuzberg to meet up with Eike in his Berlin-Kreuzberg studio to discuss his work, thoughts and the future. Lately, he’s been spending more and more time here to focus on his art.
FUTURE NOW is a call to action, to focus on the now and initiate something that can blossom in the future. To use the “time of calm and quiet” to kickstart something positive for the future. That’s Eike’s spirit and attitude for the crisis. Let’s start this future now!
“FUTURE NOW is a call to focus on the now and launch something that can blossom in the future.”
